Summer Line-up


Come on down the Parksville Museum Farmers' & Artisan Market to enjoy musical talents on our picturesque grounds of the Parksville Museum surrounded by charming historic buildings and gardens during the  Market.

Every Friday Night, starting May 26 to Sept 15th musicians will play between 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm.
The gigs play in a 1942 Volunteer Fire Hall heritage building's entrance that overlooks the lively Farmers' & Artisan Market.

Because our audience is diverse – families, children, seniors, holiday makers of all ages –
We have something for everyone here!

Friday Nights

May 26th - Opening Night - Paul & Jess

A classic rock duo with a full band sound from Errington. Market guests will enjoy the hits they play; oldies but goldies, classic rock, and a little modern day pop. For a sneak preview of their music, check out their videos here.

June 09 - Nick Schols
"From Sinatra's "Fly me to the Moon" to Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" with a bit of Magician David Copperfield thrown in, Nick the Entertainer has something for everyone in the audience." Check out the many talents of Nick here!

June 16- Fred Saliani

Born and raised in Toronto, Fred started playing guitar when he was 18, Within a few years was playing in successful rock bands playing the bar circuit in southern Ontario.
A few years later marriage and kids set in and musically the focus changed to studying and performing Classical music.
In 1997 he moved west to Qualicum Beach where he continued to perform Classical music solo as well as various other collaborations with other musicians. One of these was with Jeff Temple forming The Guitar Guys playing a nuevo Flamenco style doing music of Jesse Cook, Ottmar Liebert and Santana to name a few.
The last few years he has been performing mostly solo playing Nuevo Flamenco and some Classical and writing and performing an original song, with a new CD to be released shortly.

June 30 - Mark Bunt


Mark Bunt is a guy who loves to sing and play guitar. He has lived in Nanaimo for 27 years after growing up in the West Kootenays. Mark can be found playing the odd gig around town, serenading the masses. Once in a while, you can find him performing in a musical at some local theater. Usually, he's pouring beers at the Longwood and humming some random tune. Mark is pleased to perform and the Parksville Market this year!

July 21 - Daye Marco

Dazy Daye (Formerly known as Dave Marco) is the "Premier Transgender" Singer / Songwriter of the West Coast. Starting a long career at 18 Dazy Daye entertained in Venues as diverse as Coffeehouses, Theater Restaurants, Lounges,Bars and Concert Venues throughout Western Canada and California.

Opening for Tommy Hunter and also accomplishing an unverified World Record performance of a 15 Hr Marathon (non-stop without repetition) back in the 70's are just a couple of the highlights of an extremely varied career. Rock ,Blues , Country ,Comedy and Original Tunes make up Dazy Daye's vast 1000+ repertoire.
It's all there with Dazy Daye.

August 04 - Brodie Lee Dawson & Luke Blu Guthrie

Two of the Comox Valley's finest musicians have paired up this year as a dynamic duo! Luke Blu Guthrie and Brodie Lee Dawson have joined forces to push some big and beautiful sounds off the stage, backing each other up on the latest stylings of their original tunes.

She has been touring for the past couple of years with her band She Could Be Trouble who were nominated twice for 'Group of the Year' - at the Vancouver Island Music Awards and the BCCMA's. Brodie Dawson took home 'Vocalist of the Year' at the 2014 Vancouver Island Music Awards and was nominated for Best Live Act at both 2014 and 2103 VIMA's. If you get a chance to take in one of her shows you'll know why. It's her voice that jumps out at you. Hits you right where it counts, and seduces you with a bit of bluesy, funky, smoky overtone. Her songs are laced with truth and humour and so much soul, and they speak to your core. She is real and raw, and charming and silly, and by the end of the night you'll feel like you've known her forever.

Luke is a seasoned performer and well-loved on Vancouver Island and beyond. At a time when so many young musicians struggle to find an authentic representation of self in their music, the charismatic Luke Blu Guthrie is a beacon of originality. Deeply soulful, and passionately committed to creating and sharing his music, Luke Blu has devoted much of his life to his craft. Often armed with only an acoustic guitar, Guthrie has been an integral part of the Vancouver Island music scene for over a decade. He is widely respected for his versatility and skill as songwriter, vocalist and guitar player.
Together they are on fire!

August 11 - Tom Mulder

"Tom is a singer/songwriter/guitar player", his music style is an upbeat mix of acoustic blues, rock and folk with a hint of humour. Tom enjoys performing the Oceanside area of central Vancouver Island. Come check him out this evening at the Parksville Museum Farmers' Market! Have a sneak peak here!

August 25 - The Konsorados

A unique blend of prairie roots and coastal landscape. Donna Konsorado reveals a collection of banjo
and acoustic guitar-based country and folk. Bill Konsorado is a talented composer & multi-instrumentalist
(Keyboards, percussion, melodica, accordion). He and Donna formed a duo "The Konsorados" in 2010. Have a quick listen to what you will be hearing live.

September 15 - LAST MARKET - TerraZetto
